Vivacious rapper Kanye West is about to become the artist formerly known as Kanye West if his application to legally have his names changed is granted. He wants his names changed to "YE".
He The artist who bills himself as the greatest of all times filed the request at Los Angeles Superior Court on Aug 11, 2021. In the documents viewed by NBC News "YE" is spelt with both letters in upper case.
Interestingly Kanye West has titled his 2018 album "YE". That album was a peak into his psyche, mental health and family.
He also announced in 2018 that he planned to go by his nicknames.
